Over the last decade Syrian composer Faraj Abyad has redefined classical Arabic music, fusing Arabic poetry past and present with his own signature style. Join Abyad for a moving evening of works commissioned by The Met, including his 2021 project The Loyalty of the Poet and new settings of poetry inscribed on the walls of the Museum’s Damascus Room (Gallery 461).
Tickets start at $35 ($30 + $5 fee)
