Even though the Flamenco took her far from home, she always keeps in mind her origins...
A novel contribution is the beginning that the dancer performs honouring her land, the Basque Country. It’s an emotional way of expressing in her shows.
This show comes from the eagerness and enthusiasm to work in group, and create something of our own. There is not plot, each stage number by itself, has enough consistency to tell a story. It’s our way of doing flamenco. In the show, we offer a walk around different palos of Flamenco, that without leaving the traditional, suggest very personal traits of each of the components of the group…and this is the strength, personality and creative complicity.
Without extravagances and with recognized codes within the discipline of flamenco, we try to keep harmony in the scene along the whole play, and taking care of details along the time. The purpose is to give each flamenco theme the appropriate character, and to dress and express it to reach the viewer the essence. The final result, one and a quarter hour during which elegance, subtlety, simplicity, freshness and spontaneity take over the stage.
